About Us

Our calling to missions was a gradual process, but in 1994 we individually made a LIFE commitment to serve the Lord.  We committed ourselves to give our Labour, our Influence, our Finances and Expertise to serve the Lord.

OUR JOURNEY:

Marié: At the age of eight I accepted Jesus into my life at a presentation by a visiting children’s preacher.  At university I got involved with Campus Crusade for Christ where I grew spiritually and learnt how to disciple others. The joy of seeing others come to Christ overshadowed the satisfaction of nursing and after much prayer I joined Campus Crusade for Christ.

Stefan: I started a personal relationship with the Lord as a result of a family misunderstanding.  In my distress I prayed Philippians 4:7 and asked for God’s peace and He flooded my heart. In 1992 I was challenged from Isaiah 6:1-6 to make myself available to God. Computer programming did not compare with the experience of seeing peoples lives changed so I joined Campus Crusade for Christ saying “Here am I Lord, send me.”

OUR SERVICE:

We ministered to university students on various campuses in South Africa. Since 2000 we have served in various operational roles at the National (South Africa), Regional (Southern and Eastern Africa) and Continental (Africa)  levels of Campus Crusade for Christ. As we served in this capacity we discovered that God has given us a passion to help make life easier for others in the harvest field. We now serve at the Global Headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

Stefan: I am blessed to use my passion for coaching and mentoring to help church planters around the world. Their success and fruit is our joy!

Marié: I serve as the global communications director and as a global content strategist. We try and maximize the use of digital tools to spread the gospel.

FAMILY:

Kenneth (2003) loves tennis, food and anything that has to do with water.

Monica (2005), loves reading and learning new things. She is our helper and a great cook and baker.

Peter (2008 – 2010) was a busy boy loved by everyone. A freak accident took him home to the Lord. He is sorely missed.
